    Misinformation. Those are two completely different metals. Lead, of course, is toxic. You don’t want it anywhere near food or drinking water.
    There is an aluminum lead alloy. Lead is added to the aluminum to create better machinability. According to the following there are even food grade versions
    “The befuddled old chaps who were chums were spotted gallantly romping, rampaging and meandering, hither and thither throughout the woods, gleefully foraging for thrice baked potatoes.”
    I should be worried about buying aluminum wire that has been contaminated with trace amounts of lead?
